When Sarah and I co-founded Transformed Hearts Ministries in January 2011 at the restructuring of Elijah House, the Lord was in it... all of it! He had been preparing our hearts for the next thing, the next step.

“A change is coming! This is ME! I’ll lead you, and I’ll take care of you! I have some things for you to do for Me. This is MY MINISTRY!” And we said, “Yes, Lord!” And we took the next step. And the next.

He even sang these lyrics…. “To face unafraid, the plans we have made…walking in a winter wonderland!”

We found a wonderful office space where we would minister and teach, but it sure needed some work! He called it “OUR office” (His and ours). We just kept following Him. He even gave us the paint colors for each room. For the main entry room, He told Sarah to paint it Ralph Lauren’s Malaya Red, so that God’s people would remember that they enter freedom through the Blood of the Lamb. And on the wall that you see as you walk through the door, we were told to write the words “Consider Him….” from Hebrews 12:3- “Consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you would not grow weary and lose heart.”

So, here it is, written on the wall as a reminder to everyone who sees it that Jesus has gone before us in every hardship, heartbreak, suffering, opposition, and hopelessness that mankind can encounter. He endured it all, and He conquered it all for us. He does not want us to grow so weary and lose heart. Because He has overcome, we may overcome in Him.
